Pop goes the needle

Well, I am going to tell of my experience of getting my first helix done. It was over a year ago. And I decided I wanted it done and I’m not one to give up easily. So my friend and I decided we could do it oursleves. (I DO NOT reccomend doing this) So we got a piercings earing like they use for babies. And one night I was at her house and we were like, why not? So we got the earing, marked the spot, and she continued to force it through my cartilage. I didn’t hurt at all, but then again I do have a high pain tolerence. I could hear it as she was pushing it through, and heard a very distinct “pop” as it came out the other side. (I found that quite cool for some reason) But soon after I went to check out my new piercing. It was pretty crooked which I wasn’t too pleased about, but I figured it was good story to tell so I kept it. She offered to re-do it, but I decided against it. I still have it, almost 2 years later. It’s still crooked, but it healed quite nicely to my own surprise. The girl that did it is no longer a friend of mine, but I don’t regret it for one minute. I love my piercing and would never get rid of it. And it’s quite funny to see people’s faces when they see it and hear the story. But once again, I strongly warn you not to do what I did. We had no idea what we were doing and it could of ended much worse than it did.

But, all in all, i love every single one of my piercings and wouldn’t get rid of them if you paid me.
